Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a traveling MRI Technologist for a 16-week assignment in Burlington, Vermont. Start date is 10/19/2026, with 12-hour day shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays as part of a hospital-based team.

The role requires active MRI licensure (ARRT MR or ARMRIT MR), BLS, Philips MRI experience, and Epic EMR proficiency. Prior travel and teaching hospital experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT license with MR advanced licensure.
• BLS certification is required.
• Philips MRI experience required.
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years.
• Minimum 1 year MRI experience.
• Teaching hospital experience required.
• Prior travel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams following established protocols, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety.
• Verify patient information, select appropriate MRI sequences, and adjust parameters to optimize diagnostic utility.
• Adhere to MRI safety guidelines, infection control, and radiation- and contrast-safety procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other imaging staff to coordinate patient care and imaging workflow.
• Document procedures and findings in the electronic health record (Epic) and ensure accurate scheduling and coding.
• Maintain MRI equipment, report issues promptly, and participate in routine quality control activities.
