MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Portland, Maine. The position offers a 26-week assignment with nights, 12-hour shifts, and per-diem housing options.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently to aid diagnosis.
• Ensure the safety of patients and staff near the MRI system.
• Position patients and coils for scanning.
• Inject contrast media as required.
• Set technical parameters and monitor image data during scans.
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver quality patient care with a focus on safety and efficiency.
