MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 26-week assignment in Portland, Maine. The role requires completion of a radiologic technology program, ARRT registry, and MRI experience, with shift patterns of 12 hours and 48 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• ARRT registry required by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently to assist in diagnosis.
• Ensure patient, staff and visitor safety around the MRI environment.
• Position patients and coils for scanning and monitor image data.
• Inject contrast media as required.
• Set technical parameters and observe image data on monitors during scans.
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care with a patient-focused approach.
