Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Rockport, Maine. Start date 11/09/2026, duration 13 weeks. Work 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts, travel-friendly position with housing or housing allowance options.

Requirements include completion of a 2-year radiologic technology program, state registration, and ARRT certification. MRI experience (18 months preferred) in critical care is desirable.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently to aid diagnosis.
• Ensure patient, staff and visitor safety around magnetic fields.
• Position patients and coils, and administer contrast media when required.
• Set technical parameters and monitor image data during scans.
• Recognize normal vs. abnormal images and respond to life threats.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines and professional standards.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-focused care in a cost-effective manner.
