Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Travel MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Marion, Illinois. The role requires 1 year of MRI experience, BLS, and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with state licensing as needed. You will perform scans, prepare patients, and ensure safety according to regulations.

The position is a 13-week travel assignment with 40 hours per week, night shifts, and full benefits through TotalMed Allied. Immediate start date and travel experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of MRI experience required.
• Must hold BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with registration.
• State licensing may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• As MRI Tech, operate MRI equipment and ensure image quality for interpretation.
• Prepare patients for MRI imaging and provide comfort and care.
• Screen patients for MRI safety and explain procedures.
• Position patients and ensure safety using immobilization and protective equipment.
• Assist radiologist during procedures and manage contrast administration.
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow safety protocols.
