Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Marion, Illinois. This assignment involves 40 hours per week with nights shifts on an 8-hour schedule, for a 13-week duration.

Requirements include completion of a 2-year Radiologic Technology program, state radiology registration, and ARRT registry; 18 months MRI experience preferred, especially in critical care settings. Travel benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law
• Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to acquire diagnostic images.
• Ensure the safety of patients, staff and visitors around the MRI environment.
• Position patients and coils, and administer contrast media as required.
• Set technical parameters and monitor image data during scans.
• Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations and professional guidelines.
