Qualifications

• Two years of continuous MRI experience (20+ hours/week) as an MRI Technologist.
• License in the required state.
• BLS certification.
• Proficient in MRI and required protocols for complex procedures.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Two years of hospital experience in a clinical area; EP preferred.
• Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce cross-sectional diagnostic images.
• Perform imaging following protocol with coil placement as needed.
• Explain procedures to patients and address concerns with tact and safety.
• Ensure patient and staff safety, explain safety protocols, monitor patients.
• Orient and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
