Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The role requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, BLS, and 1 year of experience. Shifts are 8 hours in the evenings, with a pay package and potential tax-free stipend as noted by TotalMed Allied.

Responsibilities include patient prep, MRI operation, safety checks, and coordination with radiologists. Travel experience preferred; eligibility for state licensing where required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required
• BLS certification required
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with MR registration
• state licensing as applicable

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and review imaging orders, explaining procedures and providing reassurance
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures
• Position patients for MRI scans using immobilization and protective equipment
• Assist radiologist during procedures including IV starts and contrast administration
• Evaluate MRI images for quality and organize results for physicians
• Operate power injectors for contrast and maintain patient records
• Utilize McKesson PACS system for image management
