TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The role spans 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, 8-hour evenings shifts, and a travel employment type.

The MRI Tech will perform imaging, ensure safety, prepare patients, and support the radiology team. Requires ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certs, BLS, and state licensing as applicable; 1 year of experience preferred.

Qualificações

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with MRI registration.
• State licensure when required.

Responsabilidades

• Verify patient identification and explain imaging procedures.
• Screen patients for MRI safety.
• Interpret doctors' instructions for imaging.
• Position patients for MRI scans with safety equipment.
• Assist radiologist during procedures.
• Start IVs and administer contrast per protocol
• Evaluate MRI images for quality and label appropriately
• Load and operate power injectors
• Follow MRI safety procedures regarding radiation
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use McKesson PACS system
