Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Milwaukee, WI. The role involves operating MRI scanners, patient interaction, IV contrast, and collaboration with radiology teams to deliver accurate diagnostic images.

Qualifications

• Radiology program with MRI specialization completed.
• At least 1 year MRI technologist experience.
• Valid Radiology/MRI license in the state.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications before procedures.
• Educate patients about MRI procedures and address questions.
• Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot MRI equipment for functionality.
• Start IVs and administer contrast media per orders and protocol.
• Monitor image quality and adjust scanning parameters as needed.
• Document procedure details and imaging parameters per hospital policy.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers for accurate results.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace respecting infection control.
• Follow safety rules including radiation safety protocols.
• Perform other duties within the MRI technologist scope.
