Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Asheville, NC. The role requires MRI registration (ARMRIT or equivalent) and at least 2 years of MRI experience, with license if applicable.

Responsibilities include operating GE MRI equipment, using Cerner EMR, performing contrast and non-contrast studies, and coordinating shift schedules in a high-acuity hospital with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• ARMRIT or equivalent MRI registration required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent MRI experience.
• License required if applicable.
• Breast MRI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Imaging department with a 9-person staff.
• Uses GE MRI equipment and Cerner EMR.
• Performs MRI studies with and without contrast.
• Schedule runs 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM on a Saturday-Tuesday or Thursday-Sunday rotation.
• Rotating weekend coverage required.
• Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center with a Level III NICU.
• Black scrubs required.
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
• First-time travelers may be considered.
