Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI Tech) for a 13-week travel assignment in International Falls, MN. The right MRI Tech must have 1 year of experience and will perform MRI procedures along with patient care.

You will work 40 hours per week on day shifts, with 10-hour shifts, and must hold BLS and ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification; licensing may be required by the state.

Qualifications

• 1 year MRI experience required.
• BLS certification, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, and state licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and explain imaging procedures to patients.
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures.
• Interpret doctors' instructions and prepare patients for imaging.
• Position patients and ensure safety during MRI scans.
• Assist radiologist during procedures and manage contrast administration.
• Load and operate power injectors for contrast media.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS system.
