Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Rochester, Minnesota. The position offers 40 hours per week, dayshift, with travel pay and a supportive team environment.

The MRI Tech will perform imaging procedures, ensure safety, prepare patients, and assist physicians. Requirements include 1 year of experience, BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, and state licensing where required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of MRI experience
• BLS and ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT with MR registration
• state licensing if required

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and explain procedures
• Screen patients for MRI safety
• Position patients for MRI scans
• Assist radiologist during procedures
• Start IVs and administer contrast per protocol
• Evaluate scans for technical quality and label appropriately
• Operate power injectors for contrast
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use PACS system
