Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Orange Park, Florida. The role requires completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program and ARRT registration, with MRI experience preferred.

This travel position offers 13 weeks of work, 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts, and travel expenses included. Benefits and housing options are provided by MedPro Staffing.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to assist in diagnosis.
• Ensure safety of patients, staff and visitors with the MRI magnetic field.
• Position patients and coils for scanning; observe image data.
• Set technical parameters and inject contrast media as required.
• Recognize normal vs. abnormal images and respond to life-threatening situations.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and guidelines; deliver quality patient care.
