Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Plantation, Florida. The role is a 13-week contract, with 40 hours per week and 12-hour day shifts.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law
• Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• MRI technologists operate MRI scanners and related equipment to aid in diagnosis.
• Ensure patient safety with regard to the MRI environment and procedures.
• Position patients and coils, inject contrast media as required.
• Set technical parameters and monitor image data during scans.
• Respond to life-threatening situations and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-focused care and maintain a safe work environment.
