Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a traveling MRI Technologist for a 26-week assignment in Pittsfield, MA. The role requires ARRT (MR) certification, active BLS, and at least 2 years in MRI, with weekend/evening availability and on-call potential.

Two 16-hour shifts per week are scheduled, totaling 32 hours weekly. The position is in a teaching hospital setting utilizing GE HDXT equipment; travel with housing stipends may be included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years current MRI experience required.
• ARRT (MR) certification required.
• Active BLS certification (AHA) required.
• GE equipment experience required.
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred.
• Must be willing to work weekends and evenings.
• Must be willing to take call as needed.
• Must have own vehicle.
• License required if applicable.
• Compact license not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Work in Radiology department with another Tech Aide or MRI Tech.
• Shifts: two 16-hour days per week (Sat/Sun) 7:00 AM–11:30 PM.
• Provide coverage with 32 hours per week.
• On-call coverage may be required after midnight.
