Assignment Overview

American Traveler is hiring a Travel MRI Technologist for a 13‑week contract requiring 2+ years of current MRI experience and ARRT (MR) certification.

Details

• Hospital‑based MRI department in Pittsfield, MA
• Approximately 9 patients per shift
• Schedule consists of two 16‑hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 11:30 PM
• Participation in a holiday rotation is required
• On‑call coverage may be required as needed; after midnight the department transitions to on‑call coverage
• GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 equipment used
• Meditech Expanse is the EMR system (highly preferred)
• You will always work alongside another Tech Aide or MRI Tech — solo shifts are not required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of current MRI/Magnetic Resonance Imaging experience required
• Active ARRT (MR) certification required
• Active AHA BLS certification required
• GE equipment experience required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Must be willing to work weekends and take call as needed
• Personal vehicle required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• License required if applicable
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required for consideration
• Current MRI skills checklist (within the past year) required for consideration

Additional Information

• 13-week contract located in Pittsfield, MA
• Non‑billable orientation of 8 hours
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted, and requests submitted after the time of offer will not be approved

Pay Package

Pay package is based on 16‑hour shifts and 32 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
