Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Plantation, FL. You will perform MRI imaging, ensure image quality, and assist radiologists while maintaining patient safety and records.

The role requires 1 year of MRI experience, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with MRI registration, BLS, and applicable state licensing. Shift is 8 hours, evenings, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience.
• BLS certification required and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT with MRI registration.
• State license as required for location.
• Comfort with patient positioning and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans and ensure high-quality images for interpretation.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and monitor comfort and safety.
• Screen patients for MRI safety and obtain consent as needed.
• Operate MRI equipment and assist radiologist during procedures.
• Maintain patient records and manage contrast administration per protocol.
