Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist for a travel assignment in San Jose, CA. The role requires 1 year of MRI experience, with BLS and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification and any state licensing as required.

The MRI Tech will perform imaging procedures, ensure image quality, and collaborate with physicians to provide accurate results for interpretation. This travel position offers 13 weeks of work with nights and 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 1 year of MRI experience required.
• BLS and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with MRI registration.
• State-specific licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests.
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures.
• Interpret doctors' instructions and position patients for scans.
• Assist radiologist and load contrast media per protocol.
• Evaluate image quality and manage patient records.
• Operate MRI equipment and PACS system; use power injectors.
