Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a contract assignment in San Jose, California. This role requires MRI expertise, 40 hours per week, night shift, and a 13-week duration at a partnering hospital.

As an MRI Tech, you’ll operate Phillips MRI systems, ensure patient safety, and maintain imaging quality in accordance with HIPAA. ARRT/ARMRIT or CAMRT registration and BLS certification are preferred. Start date ASAP, with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• ARRT/ARMRIT/CAMRT registration or eligible.
• Current state license (if applicable) and BLS certification.
• 2 years MRI experience in hospital or imaging center.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and imaging protocols.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning during scans.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues.
• Review images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality.
• Maintain patient records and HIPAA compliance.
• Follow safety procedures related to magnetic fields and contrast administration.
