Job summary

The Good Life MedStaff is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Hickory, North Carolina. The MRI Technologist performs MRI procedures, ensuring image quality and patient safety within the Radiology Department.

Requirements include ARRT MRI or ARMRIT certification and BLS, with appropriate licensure as required by state regulations. The position offers a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week, dayshift.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Completion of an accredited MRI technologist training program.
• ARRT MRI or ARMRIT certification.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Screen patients for contraindications to MRI.
• Explain procedures and answer patient questions to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Position patients correctly and use immobilization devices when necessary.
• Administer contrast materials as needed and monitor patient response.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures.
