Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a licensed MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Hickory, North Carolina. This 13-week contract offers 40 hours weekly, day shifts, and a 5x8 schedule.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of MRI experience, BLS, and state license, with strong patient safety awareness and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Two years of regular (20 hours or more per week) experience as an MRI Technologist.
• License in required state.
• BLS.
• Must be proficient in MRI and have knowledge of required MRI protocols.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Perform studies per protocol including placing the coil near the area of interest.
• Ensure safety and quality of diagnostic services; monitor patients.
• Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, trainees.
