Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel MRI Technologist in Hickory, North Carolina for a 13-week contract. The role requires ARRT/ARMRIT/CAMRT registration, a radiologic technology degree, and 2 years of MRI experience. Philips MRI systems experience and a state license (if applicable) are preferred.

BLS is required. 40 hours per week on days. The contract offers weekly pay between $1,528 and $1,673 in a hospital setting with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• ARRT or ARMRIT or CAMRT registered.
• Phillips MRI Systems experience.
• Current state license (if applicable).
• BLS certification required.
• 2 years of recent MRI Tech experience in a hospital or imaging center.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and imaging protocols.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning during scans.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues.
• Review images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality.
• Maintain patient records and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
• Follow all safety procedures related to magnetic fields and contrast administration.
