American Traveler is seeking a Travel MRI Technologist for an acute care assignment in Omaha, Nebraska, 13 weeks long. Expect 3x12-hour day shifts (36 hours per week) with call coverage and weekend/holiday duties in a Level I trauma facility using multiple scanners.

The role requires ARRT MR certification, BLS, trauma experience, and an active state license. Start IVs and references are mandatory, with housing stipend and benefits typical of travel assignments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience required.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• ARRT (MR) certification required.
• Trauma Level I experience required.
• Active state or compact (NLC) license required for the state of submission; license required if applicable.
• Must be able to start IVs.
• Driver's license required for submission and used to verify residency location.
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and rehire eligibility.

Responsabilités

• Performs a wide range of studies including cardiac, breast, and some angio imaging.
• Averages 35-40 scans/studies per day.
• Uses EPIC and McKesson PACS (transitioning to Merge).
• 3x12 hour shifts, days vary, 7a-730p, rotating schedule.
• Call requirement every other Thursday as backup coverage.
• Weekend and holiday coverage required.
• No floating outside of MRI department.
