Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel MRI Technologist for an Omaha assignment. This 13-week travel role requires 40 hours per week with evenings shifts, offering valuable experience across hospital settings.

The MRI Technologist will perform scans, ensure safety, prepare patients, operate MRI equipment, and work with radiologists to deliver high-quality images. ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification and BLS are required, with state licensing as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience in MRI.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification and state licensing as required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and operate MRI equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests.
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures.
• Interpret doctor instructions accurately.
• Position patients and ensure safety during scans.
• Assist radiologist during procedures.
• Load and operate contrast media administration.
• Evaluate image quality and label appropriately.
• Maintain patient records and use PACS system.
• Follow safety procedures when handling radiation.
• Maintain equipment and support patient care
• Coordinate with teams to ensure timely imaging
