Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Liberal, Kansas. The role requires two years of MRI experience, licensure in the state, and BLS certification, with a 40-hour workweek and 8-hour days.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of regular (20+ hours per week) experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Fully proficient in MRI duties and protocols.
• BLS certification.
• License in required state.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images according to protocol.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures.
• Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and obtain consent.
• Maintain equipment and ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Train and orient new staff and students as needed.
• Collaborate with radiology team to optimize imaging workflows.
• Adhere to all regulatory and procedural requirements.
