Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Liberal, Kansas. The right candidate has at least 1 year of MRI experience, BLS, and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with MR registration; state licensing as required.

You will perform MRI imaging, ensure image quality, and assist radiologists, while following safety protocols. The position offers travel staffing support, weekly pay, and full benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year MRI experience required.
• BLS certification and ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification with MR registration.
• State licensing as required by the location.

Responsibilities

• Explain imaging procedures to patients and obtain consent.
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures.
• Position patients for MRI scans with immobilization and safety measures.
• Assist radiologist during MRI procedures.
• Administer contrast media and start IVs per protocol.
• Evaluate MRI images for technical quality and labeling.
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure proper PACS usage.
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow safety policies.
