Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Farmington, New Mexico. The position offers 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts, and a chance to work with a dedicated clinical team across a travel-friendly environment.

As an MRI Tech, you will operate MRI scanners, perform injections of contrast as needed, and coordinate with radiologists to deliver high-quality diagnostic images while following safety protocols and maintaining patient-centered

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Radiology program with MRI specialization.
• One year experience as MRI Tech.
• Valid Radiology/MRI license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications prior to procedure.
• Educate patients on MRI procedure and answer questions.
• Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot MRI equipment for proper function.
• Start IVs and administer contrast media per orders and protocol, monitoring for adverse reactions.
• Monitor image quality and adjust scanning parameters for optimal results.
• Document procedure details and imaging parameters in accordance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging and timely results.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to infection control and safety policies.
