Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel contract in Farmington, New Mexico. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with a 36-hour week and 12-hour day shifts in a hospital setting.

You will perform MRI examinations, ensure patient safety and comfort, and maintain equipment while following imaging protocols and HIPAA guidelines. ARRT/ARMRIT/CAMRT registration and BLS are required, with 2 years of MRI experience in a hospital or imaging center.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• ARRT or ARMRIT or CAMRT registered.
• Phillips MRI Systems experience.
• Current state license (if applicable)
• BLS certification required
• 2 years of recent MRI Tech experience in a hospital or imaging center

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and imaging protocols
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning during scans
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues
• Review images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality
• Maintain patient records and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
• Follow all safety procedures related to magnetic fields and contrast administration
