Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Farmington, New Mexico. This travel role requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts and includes travel considerations for healthcare staffing needs.

The MRI Tech will perform imaging, ensure patient safety, and support physicians with accurate MRI results while adhering to ARRT/ARMRIT, BLS, and state licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as MRI Technologist.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with registration.
• BLS certification.
• State-specific licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests.
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures.
• Interpret doctors' instructions and position patients for scans.
• Operate MRI equipment and ensure image accuracy for interpretation.
• Assist radiologist during procedures.
• Start IVs and administer contrast per protocol.
• Evaluate image quality and label images properly.
• Use PACS system (McKesson) for image handling.
