Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Travel MRI Technologist (MRI) for a hospital-based radiology department in Peabody, MA. The assignment starts 10/26/2026 for 13 weeks, with a mixed 8- and 12-hour day schedule and potential float between two sites.

You will perform MRI exams, ensure image quality, maintain safety, and collaborate with radiologists. ARRT MR certification and BLS are required, with 2+ years of MRI experience; Philips MRI experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations across standard protocols, ensuring high-quality, diagnostic images.
• Position patients, select coils, and optimize imaging sequences according to exam type.
• Screen for MRI contraindications, monitor patients during scanning, and maintain patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain MRI equipment and safely manage protocol parameters, ensuring accurate documentation of procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams; ensure adherence to ARRT MR guidelines and safety standards.
• May be asked to float between two site locations as needed; uphold hospital-level standards and procedures.
