Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks an MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Danville, Pennsylvania. The position requires completion of an approved radiologic technology program and ARRT registration, with preferred MRI experience in critical care.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law
• Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently to aid in diagnosis
• Ensure patient, staff and visitor safety around the MRI environment
• Position patients and coils on the table and inject contrast media as required
• Set technical parameters and monitor image data during scans
• Recognize normal vs. abnormal images and respond to life-threatening situations
• Maintain compliance with federal, state and local regulations and guidelines
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care while maintaining a patient-focused environment
• Promote a safe work environment for staff and patients
