Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Ellsworth, Maine. The role requires 2+ years MRI experience and ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification, with 40 hours per week and flexible 8-hour shifts in a hospital imaging department.

The assignment features one MRI room, a 1.5 Tesla Philips Ingenia scanner, and a rotating schedule. First-time travelers are not considered; scrubs and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience in acute or outpatient settings.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification required.
• State license if applicable.
• Experience with IV starts and strong multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures for adult and older pediatric patients.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort; coordinate with radiology team.
• Work with 1.5 Tesla Philips Ingenia Ambition scanner; Cerner/PACS environment.
• Rotate shifts; no weekend/on-call requirements; adhere to holiday schedule.
