Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Denver, Colorado. The role features 4x10 hour shifts, 40 hours per week, and travel compensation structure with a tax-free stipend to be determined.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of MRI experience, proper licensing, BLS, and strong patient safety focus. The position requires proficient MRI procedures and effective communication in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of regular MRI experience (20+ hours/week) as an MRI Technologist II or equivalent.
• Licensed MRI Technologist in the required state.
• BLS certification.
• Proficient in MRI procedures and protocols for complex scans.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images.
• Follow protocol and safety procedures under radiology leadership.
• Perform patient studies and coil positioning according to protocol.
• Operate imaging equipment, enter scan sequences, and adjust settings as needed.
• Explain procedures to patients and address concerns with tact and professionalism.
• Orient and train new MRI staff and students.
