Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Superior, Wisconsin. The role requires 1 year of MRI experience, BLS, and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with state licensure where required.

Duties include patient prep, safety screening, image quality assessment, contrast administration, and PACS usage. Shift is 8 hours days, with a 40-hour workweek, and travel compensation as a tax-free stipend as determined.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required in MRI.
• BLS and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• State licenses if required.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and explain procedures.
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures.
• Interpret doctors' instructions accurately.
• Position patients for MRI with proper immobilization.
• Assist radiologist during procedures.
• Start IVs and administer contrast per protocol.
• Evaluate image quality and labeling.
• Operate power injectors for contrast.
• Follow radiation safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS.
