Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel MRI Technologist for a temporary assignment in Madison, Wisconsin. The role requires 1 year of MRI experience, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, and BLS; licensing as required by state laws.

The MRI Technologist will operate MRI equipment, prepare patients, and ensure high-quality images for physician interpretation. The assignment spans 17 weeks, with 40 hours weekly and day shifts, supporting radiology teams in outpatient or hospital settings.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required.
• BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with MR registration.
• State licensing when required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients and explain imaging procedures to ensure comfort and safety.
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures.
• Interpret doctors' instructions and position patients for MRI.
• Assist radiologist during procedures and manage contrast administration.
• Maintain accurate patient records and operate PACS system.
