Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Indiana, PA. The role involves operating MRI scanners, ensuring patient safety, and delivering high-quality diagnostic images while collaborating with radiology teams.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Radiology program of study with specialization and training in MRI.
• One year's experience as an MRI Tech.
• Valid Radiology/MRI license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications prior to procedure.
• Educate patients on MRI procedure and answer questions.
• Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot MRI equipment for proper function.
• Start IVs and administer contrast as ordered and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Monitor image quality and adjust scanning parameters for optimal results.
• Document procedure details and imaging parameters in hospital records.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and timely results.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace in accordance with infection control policies.
• Follow hospital safety and radiation safety protocols.
• Perform other duties within the MRI Technologist scope.
