Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a highly motivated MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Cary, North Carolina. The role requires two years of hands-on MRI experience, a state license, and BLS certification. You will work 3x12 hour days across a 13‑week contract with emphasis on patient safety and high-quality imaging.

Qualifications

• Two years of continuous recent experience as an MRI Technologist (≥20 hours/week).
• Licensed in the required state and BLS certified.
• Proficient in MRI procedures and related safety protocols.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in a hospital clinical area; EP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce cross‑sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure patient safety during procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and address concerns with tact and clarity.
• Train new hires and students as needed.
• Collaborate with radiology leadership to maintain quality standards.
