Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a Craig, Colorado assignment. The position is a contract/travel role with 40 hours per week, days shift, and a 13-week duration. Candidates must have MRI expertise, state licensure, BLS, and strong patient safety and communication skills.

Responsibilities include operating MRI equipment, following protocols, training staff, and ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging while maintaining safety for patients and team members.

Qualifications

• Two years of continuous MRI experience (20+ hours/week).
• Licensed in required state.
• BLS certification required.
• Proficient in MRI procedures and safety protocols.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn position-specific applications.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Follow protocols and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Explain procedures to patients and address concerns.
• Train new hires and students as needed.
• Maintain equipment and recordkeeping per policy.
