Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology seeks a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Alexandria, LA. You will operate MRI scanners, collaborate with radiologists, and deliver high-quality diagnostic images.

Responsibilities include patient safety, IV contrast administration, equipment maintenance, and strict adherence to infection control and radiation safety protocols. Travel benefits and competitive pay accompany day-one coverage and clinician support.

Qualifications

• Radiology program with MRI specialization completed.
• One year of MRI experience.
• Valid Radiology/MRI license per state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications.
• Educate patients on MRI procedure.
• Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment.
• Start IVs and administer contrast as ordered.
• Monitor image quality and adjust scan parameters.
• Document procedures and observations.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate results.
• Maintain clean, infection-controlled workspace.
• Follow safety and radiation protocols.
• Perform other duties within MRI scope.
