Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking an MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. The role focuses on operating MRI scanners, ensuring patient safety, and supporting diagnostic imaging on a 36-hour week.

The position requires graduation from a recognized Radiologic Technology program, ARRT MRI registry, and state licensure, with preference for critical care experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• 18 months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• ARRT registry in MRI.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently to aid diagnosis.
• Ensure patient safety within the MRI environment and monitor during scans.
• Position patients and coils and manage contrast media as required.
• Set technical parameters and review image data for quality.
