Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Boston, MA seeks a MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. You will operate MRI equipment, prepare and care for patients, and ensure accurate imaging passed to physicians. The role requires MR registration, BLS, and at least 1 year of experience.

The job supports a 12-hour day shift and 36 hours per week. Responsibilities include patient screening, image quality evaluation, contrast administration, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• 1 year of MRI experience required
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with MR registration
• BLS and state licensing as required

Responsibilities

• Explain imaging procedures to patients and obtain consent
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures
• Position patients for MRI scans and ensure patient comfort
• Assist radiologist during procedures
• Load/inject contrast media per protocol
• Evaluate image quality and label studies correctly
• Maintain patient records and use PACS for image handling
