Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 26-week assignment in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The role requires 1 year of MRI experience, BLS, and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with active registration. Work is 32 hours weekly on 16 hour daytime shifts.

Responsibilities include patient prep, safety screening, image acquisition, contrast administration, and coordinating with radiologists. Travel and licensing requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience.
• Must have BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT National Certification with registration in magnetic resonance imaging.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and explain imaging procedures.
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures.
• Position patients for MRI scans with immobilization and safety equipment.
• Assist radiologist with MRI procedures.
• Load and operate contrast media injectors.
• Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality and label images correctly.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use McKesson PACS system.
