Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing in Newark, Delaware, is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment. This role involves operating MRI scanners to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Radiology program with specialization and training in MRI.
• One year’s experience as an MRI Tech.
• Valid Radiology/MRI license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications prior to the procedure.
• Educate patients on MRI procedures and ensure understanding.
• Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot MRI equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Start I.V.s and administer contrast media as needed.
• Monitor image quality during procedures and adjust scanning parameters for optimal results.
• Document procedure details and patient observations as required.
