Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Morristown, New Jersey. The role involves operating MRI equipment, following protocols, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.

The schedule includes 12-hour shifts with a 36-hour workweek, specifically Wed–Sat (3–11 pm Wed–Fri and 7 am–11 pm Sat). Radiation technologist duties include maintaining image quality and coordinating with staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited radiology program.
• NJ State registered Radiologic Technologist license.
• MRI certification.
• BLS certification.
• 1-3 years of MRI experience.
• Ability to follow protocols and ensure patient safety.

Responsabilités

• Position patients on examining tables, place coils close to area of interest, and follow radiologist protocols.
• Use microphones for patient communication during imaging.
• Enter patient data into the computer system.
• Observe images to ensure quality and alert staff to safety concerns related to metal objects around the magnet.
• Schedule includes 3-11 pm Wed-Fri and 7 am-11 pm Sat; minimum 36 hours per week.
