Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a Morristown, New Jersey assignment. The role involves operating MRI equipment, performing patient studies, and ensuring safety and quality of care for a 13-week contract with 40 hours per week.

Candidates should have a valid MRI Technologist license, BLS, and at least two years of recent MRI experience, with hospital exposure preferred. The position includes health insurance, 401K matching, licensing reimbursement, and nationwide staffing

Qualifications

• Two years of continuous recent experience as an MRI Technologist (>=20 hours/week).
• License in the required state.
• BLS certification.
• Fully proficient in MRI and complex procedures.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
• Two years of hospital experience in clinical area (EP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Follow protocols to ensure safety and quality of care.
• Perform patient studies according to set protocol and coil placement.
• Operate imaging equipment and input scan sequences and data.
• Explain procedures to patients and address concerns with tact.
• Ensure safety for patients and staff, and monitor for hazards.
• Orient or train new hires and MRI staff.
