Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Travel MRI Technologist for an assignment in Olympia Fields, Illinois. This travel role runs for 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, day shifts, and a focus on patient safety and high-quality imaging.

The MRI Tech will screen patients, position them for scans, administer contrast as directed, and collaborate with radiologists. Requirements include 1 year of MRI experience, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, BLS, and applicable state licensing.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of MRI experience.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification is required.
• BLS and state licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and explain imaging procedures.
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures.
• Position patients for MRI scans and assist radiologist.
• Load and operate contrast media injectors and manage PACS.
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow safety procedures.
