Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Carbondale, Illinois. This role requires 1 year of MRI experience, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, and BLS. You will perform MRI imaging, ensure safety, and support physicians with high-quality scans.

The position offers travel scheduling with 9-hour shifts across 36 hours per week, and requires standing for long periods while maintaining patient care standards. State licensure contingencies apply where required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in MRI required.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with registration.
• BLS certification and relevant state licensing as applicable.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for MRI procedures and provide reassurance.
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures.
• Position patients and ensure safety during scanning.
• Assist radiologist and operate MRI equipment and inject contrast as directed.
• Evaluate image quality and maintain accurate patient records.
• Use McKesson PACS to manage imaging data.
