Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN MICU for a 13-week assignment in Peoria, Illinois. This ICU role requires a 12-hour night shift and 36 hours per week with an ASAP start.

The assignment lasts about 13 weeks and focuses on critical care for ventilated patients with sepsis, ARDS, pneumonia, AKI, and other conditions. Ideal candidates hold ACLS/BLS certifications, Illinois license in progress, and experience interpreting EKGs, managing arterial/central lines, and titrating

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting EKG strips.
• Proficiency in using arterial lines and central lines.
• Competence in caring for ventilated patients.
• Advanced knowledge in titrating vasopressors.
• Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS.
• Licensure: Active Illinois (IL) license or initiation of licensure process.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level MICU patient care during 12-hour night shifts.
• Monitor and interpret critical patient data and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Coordinate with ICU team for ventilator management and vasopressor therapy.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards.
