Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MFM Diagnostic Sonographer for a Maternal Fetal Medicine assignment. The candidate should have 2+ years of sonography experience, RVT and ARDMS credentials in Abdomen, OB/GYN, Pediatric, or MSK, with multiple specialties preferred.

The role involves rotating between an acute care hospital and an outpatient clinic, with a daily caseload around 45 visits and 32 weekly hours. Epic charting and GE ultrasound knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Diagnostic Sonographer required.
• RVT certification required.
• ARDMS in Abdomen, OB/GYN, Pediatric or MSK with multiple specialties preferred.

Responsibilities

• Position based between an acute care hospital and an outpatient clinic setting, with floating between both facilities.
• Support high-risk OB and general ultrasound patient population in the Maternal Fetal Medicine unit.
• Daily caseload of approximately 45 visits per tech.
• 4x8 hour day shifts (about 32 hours/week) with start times from 7:00–7:30 AM and end times 3:30–4:00 PM.
• Weekend coverage approximately every 4–6 weeks.
• Uses Epic, GE ultrasound equipment and PACS; performs vascular and OB/GYN imaging.

Education

Two-year Allied Health program or AAS in ultrasound or Bachelor's degree in ultrasound
